Our program
Our program has been developed around both fun and safety.
We ensure that our students can get themselves to safety, with a focus on water awareness, personal safety and mobility. Due to the small and private nature of our swim school, our team is able to focus on each child as an individual, fostering a trusting relationship and helping students build their confidence, which in turn accelerates their swimming development.
Small class sizes allow team members to develop a personal relationship with both children and parents. We strive to provide the best learn-to-swim environment in Australia: there are a maximum of two classes at the same time in a small, private, indoor facility. This creates the ideal learning environment for young children.
We offer three types of programs over a range of classes. The first is the Parent and Child Program, followed by the Teacher and Child Program and finally our Adult Learn to Swim Program.
Our Parent and Child program is varied, beginning as an aged-based program, it then becomes an ability-based program. The class the student is enrolled in will depend on both age and ability in the water.
The Teacher and Child Program is just that: a teacher conducting the class with the students (parent involvement comes from cheers, smiles, applause and thumbs up from the sidelines). While working on individual confidence, our program is building the foundation of strokes, teaching with correct technique, and fluency. We aim to teach each skill thoroughly but allow students to develop at a pace they are comfortable with.
Our staff are highly qualified professionals holding all required qualifications (teaching, CPR and Working With Children Checks). We run our own regular professional development sessions to make sure everyone is up-to-date. Most importantly, our team are here because they love the program, the students and seeing the results.
